DBU offers a one year warranty on your project. We will contact you throughout the year to discuss any service items that may need our attention or any concerns that you may have. Where Do I start?

You’ve made the decision to design and/or build a home. Where do you start? What is your budget? How do you know what style you like? DBU can help you answer these questions and aid you in determining what best suits you. Most homeowners come to us with some design ideas. Here are some suggestions to get the ball rolling:

1. Begin collecting pictures. You can take photos of things you see, rip pictures out of magazines, look in your environment for anything that reflects something you like. You will begin to see patterns in color, wood species, window styles, etc. These patterns are helpful to us when designing your dream hom.
2. Establish a budget. This isn’t as difficult as it may sound. Begin to understand your home’s value. Explore home values in your area. Whether using money you have saved, or financing your project through a construction loan, decide how much you are willing to spend.
3. Figure out your time frame. When will you be ready to start construction? Does the project need to be completed by a certain time?
